Spin cheerfully,
Not tearfully,
He knows the way you plod;
Spin carefully,
Spin prayerfully,
But leave the thread with God.
~Canadian Home Journal
These days I’m not sure if I’m spinning, flying . . . or falling.
But as I press in, I hear God say, “Press on.”
Fight for focus.
Fight for family.
Fight alongside friendships.
Fight with JOY.

In keeping with this January theme, I’m taking The Fight to unclutter our home.
One closet, one cupboard, one drawer, one basket at a time. These are the after shots.

“But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” ~Philippians 3:13-14
Pressing on. Straining forward.
Turning cartwheels? Yeah.
As God whispers, “Just do the next right thing.”
Which happens to be grabbing a clementine for my next snack.
Smiling,
margi
I’m happy for traveling companions: monkjo@live.com
Happy for you, too, Marge! As always, your an inspiration as we’re traveling together!!
Hiya Carol from the sunshine state! We are enjoying some time away and just in time to miss all the snow excitement:)
Glad to share the journey with you.
Margi
Always love your thoughts. I am also doing a bit of “unclutter” with photos. Maybe I’ll even get it done this winter. Your areas look wonderful and I know how great that feeling is. I love that you mention cartwheels….I wish I could still do that. Maybe in heaven.!! Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us.
Keep up the hard work of uncluttering! Just bringing up the subject of photos, haven’t gotten there! It’s overwhelming with phone pics and files…
I miss seeing you, Pat. Glad for Facebook to keep up with you. The cartwheels? I’ll join you too one day. The cartwheels are mental ones only:) Thanks for sharing life with me! Love you, Margi
Thanks Margi. What an encouraging note and how very timely. Much love to you and your whole family. Extra prayers and hugs to Brian and your new little one which will be loved and cherished. Mike
Thank you, Mike. Chuck and I sure appreciate your prayers as we navigate through new changes that are coming to our family. God is so good and we see great evidence of His grace already in our story.
On another note, my extended family enjoyed your preaching! I heard many wonderful comments about you. I wasn’t a bit surprised!
Love to you and Karen!
